George D. Whitmire was born October 11, 1938 in Gore, Oklahoma, the son of George and Alma Mae (Wells) Whitmire. He passed this life on January 8, 2017 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 78.
He leaves to mourn his passing:
2 sons: Wayde Whitmire of Missoula, Montana and
Chad Woolbright of Oklahoma City, OK
2 grandchildren
2 brothers: Albert Whitmire of Sallisaw, OK and
Ray Whitmire of Maryetta, OK
several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Gilbert and Joe Whitmire
Graveside service will be Monday, January 16, 2017 at 10 am at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Visitation will be Friday 4 - 8 pm, Saturday 10 am - 8 pm and Sunday 2 - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
