Mrs. Welch was born December 11, 1920 in Northview community, Ok., the daughter of Robert Marion Asbill and Paralee Jane Ellison Asbill. She was married to Edmond Welch in April of 1936 in Sequoyah county, Ok. He preceded her in death on May 14, 2006 in Coalgate, Ok. Mrs. Welch was a homemaker and a baptist. She passed this life on August 27, 2008 in Atoka, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 87 years, 8 months and 16 days.
Survivors are:
1 daughter: Doris Jane Wardhaugh of Boise, Idaho
1 son: J.M. and Shelby Welch of Colgate, OK
5 grandchildren: John and Curtis Wardhaugh,
Steven and Laurie Welch, and James Welch
6 great grandchildren
she was preceded in death by her husband,
1 son: Raymond Edmond Welch,
and a grandson Dennis Welch |
