Maxine Walters was born October 30, 1945 in Sublette, Kansas the daughter of Orville Kenneth Birney and Nina F. (Powell) Birney. She was married to Donald Wayne Walters on November 20, 1965 in Sublette, Kansas. He preceded her in death on November 28, 2001 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She worked for National Bank of Sallisaw and was of the Church of Christ faith. Mrs. Walters passed this life on April 6, 2016 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 70.
She leaves to mourn her passing:

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 1 brother: Kenneth Birney, 1 sister: Karen Yount
Funeral service will be Monday, April 11, 2016 at 2 pm at Short Baptist Church. Burial will be at Seabolt Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Viewing will be Friday 2 - 8 pm, Saturday 10 am - 8 pm, and Sunday 2 - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw. The family will greet Sunday from 3 - 6 pm.
