Vann was born June 19, 1924 in Vian, Oklahoma, the son of George Byers Vann and Nancy Beaver.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and a member of Vian Creek Baptist Church.  Mr. Vann passed this life on February 8, 2009 in Vian, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 84 years, 7 months and 20 days. Survivors are: 3 sisters: Lillian Sue Hall of Corpus Christie, Texas Rose Marie Kelley of Vian, Ok. and Sarah Ann Kirkland of Clewiston, Fl. 6 nieces and 5 nephews 32 great nieces and nephews 80 great great nieces and nephews several other relatives and friends He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife: Phyllis
