Leona Christene Turner was born January 8, 1929 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, the daughter of Ben Harrison Thomason and Letha Lou Alice Hess Thomason. She married Marlin Eugene Turner on January 26, 1952 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on March 25, 1985 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Mrs. Turner passed this life on July 15, 2012 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 83 years, 6 months, and 7 days.

2 great granddaughters: Paige and Nichole

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents,
