Elizabeth Jackson Turman, 68, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was born November 29, 1947 in Miami, Oklahoma the daughter of Karl Dawson and Mary Jane (Haire) Dawson. She married Robert Wesley Turman on May 12, 2006 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mrs. Turman was a homemaker, hairdresser, receptionist, provider, and secretary. She was a devoted mom, wife, and Christian and was of the Protestant faith. She had a caring heart for others.
Survivors are:
1 daughter: Amber Elizabeth Williams Carrigan of Oklahoma City, OK
1 son: Corey Joe Wooley of Jay, OK
3 grandchildren: Dylan Matthew Carrigan, Miranda Shaw and Dalton Shaw
1 sister: Karla Dawon
aunt and uncle: Billy Jack Haire and Beverly Haire
She was preceded in death by her son, Dane Allen Shaw and her parents.
The family will hold a memorial service on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 1 pm at McGee Park in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
