Mr. J.D. Trueblood 1920 - 2008 |
Mr. Trueblood was born March 27, 1920 in Dwight Mission community, Oklahoma, the son of W.D. Trueblood and Mary Eva (Combs) Trueblood. He was married to Sigrid Crawford on December 28, 1946 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on December 12, 1988. Mr. Trueblood was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, a railroad worker, furniture factory worker and worked at Eastside Elementary School in the maintenance department. He was a member of Marble City First Baptist Church, where he served as Treasurer and Sunday School Superintendent for many years. He passed this life on August 10, 2008 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 88 years, 4 months and 14 days.
Survivors are:
1 son and daughter in law: Alan and Melba Trueblood of Marble City, Ok.
1 grandson and granddaughter in law: Darin and Pauletta Trueblood of Marble City, Ok.
2 great grandsons: Darik and Caleb Trueblood
2 sisters: Ethel Crawford of Marble City, Ok. and Jettie Lee Holden of Odessa, Tx.
