James Travis Treat was born September 7, 1918 in Watts, Arkansas the son of Richard and Mattie Alice (Tipton) Treat. He was married to Skeet Aleeta (Land) Treat on February 8, 1948 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mr. Treat passed this life on February 20, 2016 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma at the age of 97. He leaves to mourn his passing: wife: Skeet of the home numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends He was preceded in death by his parents, 6 sisters: Audra Waite, Vivian Brickell, Lois Edwards, Sue Hall, Virginia Davidhizer and Cordelia Miller and 3 brothers: Fowler, Leonard and Doyle Treat Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 10 am at Calvary Temple Church with burial at Drakestand Cemetery. Viewing will be Monday 10 am - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw. The family will greet from 5 - 6 pm.
