Herbert S. Thomas was born January 26, 1924 in Akins, Oklahoma the son of Walter and Vida (Price) Thomas. He married Charlotte Grigsby on February 11, 1947 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was a bus driver for Sallisaw Public Schools, a U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran, and a Protestant. Mr. Thomas passed this life on May 18, 2016 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma at the age of 92.

2 brothers: Olen Thomas of Sallisaw, OK and Jimmy Thomas of Sallisaw, OK

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister: Mabel Hall and 3 brothers: J.B., Clay and Fay Thomas
Funeral service is Monday, May 23, 2016 at 11 am at Fairfield Baptist Church in Stilwell, Oklahoma.
Burial will be at Fairfield Cemetery in Stilwell, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Viewing will be Saturday 10 am - 8 pm and Sunday 2 - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Active Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
