Hazel Marie Thomas was born October 30, 1932 in Collinsville, Oklahoma the daughter of Walter and Ethel Marie (Shook) Collins. She married Bobbie Joe Thomas on July 13, 1952 in Pittsburg, Kansas. Mrs. Thomas passed this life on January 26, 2016 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma at the age of 83.

1 son and daughter in law: Robert and Corin Thomas of Columbus, KS
7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren
2 sisters: Mattie Bretches of Sun City, AZ and Wanda Lavonne Howell of Henrietta, OK
1 brother: Raymond Collins of Oswego, KS
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheila Marie Thomas; her parents, Walter and Ethel Collins; 1 brother, William Collins; and 3 sisters, Betty Lou Coble, Mary Jane Carr and Clara Mae Collins
Graveside service will be Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11 am at Lone Elm Cemetery in Columbus, Kansas under the direction of Derfelt Funeral Home.
Viewing will be Friday from 1 - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw. The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 pm.
