Obituary

Alfred Andy Summerlin was born April 14th, 1939 in Vian, Ok. He was raised in Vian, one of twelve children. As an adult, he moved to California, where he met and married his wife of 52 years, Betty Louise (Parmer). It was there that he followed his fathers enthusiasm for trucks and joined the Teamsters Union. Alfred passed that same enthusiam down to his children and grandchildren. He passed this life on May 13, 2010 in Gore, OK after having attained the age of 71 years and 24 days.
He was a friend to many, and loved and revered by all who knew him, and he instilled that same pride and respect in not only his children, but neices, nephews, and grandchildren.
Though our sorrow is great, our family’s grief is eased in knowing that our Daddy came to know the Lord before his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Artie (Shamblin) Summerlin, Siblings: Bert Summerlin Jr., Bonnie Summerlin, Pearl Whitney, Trisha Watkins, his twin sister Alice Summerlin, and three infant brothers. | |
