Madie Timmerman Stephens was born December 23, 1915 in Drakes Prairie community, OK, the daughter of John William Timmerman and Sally Elizabeth McKinney Timmerman. She married Ted Isaac Stephens on December 23, 1933 in McKey community, OK. He preceded her in death on July 24, 2003 in Sallisaw, OK. Mrs. Stephens passed this life on December 21, 2011 in Sallisaw, OK after having attained the age of 95 years, 11 months and 28 days.
Survivors are:
2 daughters and 1 son in law: Joyce Stephens of Tulsa, Ok.
and Connie and Steve Hawkins of Overland Park, Ks.
2 sons and daughters in law:
Curtis and Sylvia Stephens of Vian, Ok.
and Steve and Joan Stephens of Cabot, Ar.
11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren,
12 great great grandchildren
several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband,
1 daughter and son in law: Patsy and J.C. Lee,
2 sisters: Oma Tatham and Noma Stites,
2 brothers: Dale and Arch Timmerman,
1 1/2 brother: Walter Bruton and 3 1/2 sisters:
Jessie Compton, Bonnie Leigh and Callie Holland
