Dora J. Smith was born November 30, 1922 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma the daughter of Charlie and Pearl (Covington) Green. She was married to Walter Lee Smith on May 27, 1939 in Gore, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1988. Mrs. Smith passed this life on November 6, 2016 in Vian, Oklahoma at the age of 93.
She leaves to mourn her passing:
2 daughters: Doris Rosson and Billy of Vian, OK and
Linda Timaeus and Mark of Tulsa, OK
1 son: Jimmy Smith of Okmulgee, OK
13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren
numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lee Smith; 2 sons, Robert Lee Smith and Jerry D. Smith; her parents, Charlie and Pearl Green; 3 brothers, Arlen, Hubert and Lloyd Green; and 3 sisters, Lorene Ditch, Lillian Addkinson and Reba Densmon
Graveside service is Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 2 pm at White Cemetery in Gore, Oklahoma
Viewing is Tuesday from 1 - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Gore, Oklahoma.
Honorary Pallbearers are Harold McDonald, Jr., Jerry Lynn Smith, Tony Smith, Aaron Smith and Michael Rosson. |
