Mrs. Roberta "Bert" Simmons was born January 17, 1930 in Piney, Oklahoma, the daughter of William B. Fields and Laura Katherine Ray Fields. She was married to Roy Simmons on December 5, 1948 in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Mrs. Simmons was a graduate of Anadarko High School, a longtime employee at Armstrong Bank in Vian, Ok., retiring in 1995 and attended Community of Christ Church. She passed this life on March 2, 2010 in Vian, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 80 years, 1 month and 15 days.
