Walter Ray Shamblin was born August 1, 1941 in Muldrow, Oklahoma, the son of Vernie Shamblin and Bonnie (Griffin) Shamblin. He was married to Barbara Gean Reed on February 18, 1967 in Wagoner, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on July 20, 2011. Mr. Shamblin was a retired janitorial supervisor from Central Schools and a U.S. Army Veteran. He passed this life on May 23, 2012 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 70 years, 9 months and 22 days.
