Harold Dean Shackelford, 89, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 in Barling, Arkansas. He was born August 30, 1927 in Paw Paw community, Oklahoma the son of Thomas Bert and Lois (Scott) Shackelford. He was married to Anna Marie Bethel on September 12, 1953 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Mr. Shackelford was a retired electrician from Interstate Electric in Ft. Smith, AR, U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Muldrow.

1 daughter and son in law: Terri and Mark Magnani of Ft. Smith, AR
1 son and daughter in law: David and Adele Shackelford of Tahlequah, OK
1 brother: James Shackelford of Broken Arrow, OK
several nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters: Marie Laster, Faye Treat, Edna Shackelford and Estle Chisum, 4 brothers: Steve, William, Ray and Billy Shackelford
Funeral service is Friday, August 25, 2017 at 2 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Interment will be at Memory Garden Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Muldrow.
Viewing will be Thursday from 1 - 8 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church in Muldrow. The family will greet from 6 - 8 pm at the church.
