Opal Bird was born June 23, 1942 in Adair County, Oklahoma, the daughter of Joe and Sally Bird. She married Sammie Lee Sevenstar in 1951 in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on March 26, 2009 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Mrs. Sevenstar was a homemaker and a Baptist. She passed this life on April 25, 2012 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 69 years, 10 months and 2 days.
