Mr. Scoggins was born April 17, 1933 in Morrilton, Ark., the son of Arlie Austin Scoggins, Sr. and Myrtle Mae (Hendrix) Scoggins. He was married to Fernamae Lillian Allen on August 17, 1956 in Ventura, Ca. Mr. Scoggins was a citrus orchard rancher in California and a baptist.
He passed this life on August 23, 2008 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having
attained the age of 75 years, 4 months and 6 days.
Survivors are:
wife of 52 years: Fern of the home
2 daughters: Carma Whitaker of Sallisaw, Ok.
and Carolyn Bernsen of Broken Arrow, Ok.
1 son: Danny Scoggins of Sallisaw, Ok.
7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren
5 sisters: Mary Darter of Cedarville, Ar., Rosie Sims of Plumberville, Ar.,
Hazel Belvens of Noble, Ok., Sharon Graff of Celburne, Ar.
and Beverly Barnes of Clarkton, Mo.
3 brothers: James Scoggins of Malden, Mo., Louis Scoggins of Kennett, Mo.
and Joe Scoggins of Farmersville, Mo.
several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends
