Frances D. Schildhauer was born on May 3, 1922 in Ponca City, Ok., the daughter of Ruth Tapp and Harry L. Tapp, Sr. She passed away on November 17, 2008 in Ft. Smith, Ar.
Mrs. Schildhauer worked at Beach Aircraft Vorp. In Wichita, Ks. during part of WWII. She lated moved to California and worked at the Los Angeles Port of Embarkation in Wilminton, Ca. as a telephone operator. This is where she met her husband, Leo Schildhauer, who also worked there and later joined the Army. They married November 8, 1945 in Ponca City, Ok. The Schildhauers later moved to Sallisaw, Ok. where they were members of First Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Schildhauer taught for 15 years at Gans Schools.

1 brother: Lee Tapp of Ponca City, Ok.
