Rose Alma Riggs was born on May 2, 1919 in Hanson community, Oklahoma, the daughter of Willie Joshua Sutton and Sallie Irene Edwards Sutton. She was married to Dewey Riggs on December 6, 1935 in Hanson community, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on December 14, 1996 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mrs. Riggs passed this life on November 15, 2012 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma at the age of 93.
