Alyne Padgett, 77 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma passed away September 30, 2015 in Sallisaw, OK. She was born December 24, 1937 in Ukiah, California, the daughter of Carlotta Adair Hembree and Ray Hembree. She married Dewey Padgett on December 10, 1955 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mrs. Padgett was a homemaker and a member of Apostolic Faith Church.
Survivors are: husband: Dewey of the home
2 sons: Steve and Paula Padgett of Sallisaw, OK and Aaron Padgett of the home
3 grandchildren: Joshua Padgett, Dallas Padgett and Sarah Jackson
5 great grandchildren: Parker Jackson, Cooper Jackson, Addi Jackson, Averi Padgett and Emma Padgett
1 sister: Marie Boren of Westville, OK
4 brothers: Monroe Hembree of Stilwell, OK, Al Hembree of Westville, OK,
Ivan Hembree of Bunch, OK and Dan Hembree of Westville, OK
several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son: Rick Padgett and 1 great grandson: Connor Padgett and 3 brothers: Vernon, Sam and Watie Hembree
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Stilwell, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
Active Pallbearers will be Tommy Taylor Sr., Jack Jamison, Jerry Taylor, Derek Taylor, Brad Jackson, Tommy Taylor Jr., John Speir, Herb Taylor and Nate Duke
Her brother will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Viewing will be 1 - 8 pm Friday at First Baptist Church in Sallisaw, OK
where the family will greet friends from 5 - 7 pm |
