Obituary
Ollie Marie Pack was born March 2, 1915 in Summerfield, Oklahoma, the daughter of Joseph P. Daniel and Evalena (Edwards) Daniel. She married Charley B. Pack on September 2, 1933 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on July 2, 1995 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. They moved to Blackgum Community in 1935 where they lived the remainder of their lives and raised their children. Ollie will be remembered as a kind, gentle, hard-working woman who deeply loved her family, friends, and church. As founding members of Blackgum Baptist Church, she and her husband Charley worked tirelessly in the church and supported it with their time as well as their tithes for more than 40 years. Gardening, working on the family farm, raising her children, sewing, and reading filled her days. Watching things grow delighted her. Jerry and Jennifer became her gardening buddies. Their loving efforts helped to make it possible for her to remain at home for the last few years of her life. Mrs. Pack passed this life on January 13, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 94 years, 10 months and 11 days.
