Monte Lee Murphy was born April 4, 1931 in Lambert, Oklahoma, the son of Montell Leonard Murphy and Maude Opal (Goodwin) Murphy. He married Mary Louise Bailey Lane Murphy on July 5, 1981 in Ft. Supply, Oklahoma. Mr. Murphy passed this life on September 13, 2009 in Vian, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 78 years, 5 months and 9 days.
