Gloria Maxine McGowan was born May 16, 1950 in Holly Grove, Arkansas the daughter of Jeff and Clara Maxine (Cox) Lewis. She married Sherman Earl McGowan on March 18, 1992 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was a Minister, retired from WalMart and of the Assembly of God Faith. Mrs McGowan passed this life on December 8, 2015 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma at the age of 65. She leaves to mourn her passing: Husband: Sherman of the home 2 step children: Hannah Walters of Sallisaw, OK and Sherman McGowan, Jr of Rowlett, TX Grandchildren: Jerry Lessley, Tianna McGowan, Jessie McGowan, Dawson Walters and Riley Walters Mother: Clara Maxine Lewis of Sallisaw, OK She was preceded in death by her father, Jeff Lewis Graveside service is Friday, December 11, 2015 at 1 pm at Sallisaw City Cemetery. Viewing will be Thursday 10 am - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
