Mr. McGlothlin was born November 11, 1929 in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma,
the son of Jim McGlothlin and Hettie (Dodd) McGlothlin. He married Christine Allen on January 8, 1951 in Van Buren, Ar. Mr. McGlothlin was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a retired SGT after 30 years in the U.S. Army Reserves. He also retired from Arkansas Oklahoma Gas after 27 1/2 years.
He passed this life on September 20, 2008 in Sallisaw, Ok.
after having attained the age of 78 years, 10 months and 9 days.
Survivors are:
wife: Christine of the home
1 daughter and son in law: Betty and Rick Harris of Ft. Gibson, Ok.
2 sons and 1 daughter in law: Kenneth and Lisa McGlothlin of Muskogee, Ok.
and Jerrel McGlothlin of Sallisaw, Ok.
8 grandchildren
15 great grandchildren
2 sisters: Patsy McGee of Sallisaw, Ok.
and Betty Lancaster of Sallisaw, Ok.
several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends
