Geraldine "Jerri" Mathis was born March 6, 1947 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma the daughter of Harmon and Elizabeth (Hoppis) Riggs. She passed this life on March 14, 2016 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 69.
She leaves to mourn her passing:
2 daughters: Jodi Valdivia and husband Britt Howington of Sallisaw, OK and Jennifer and Leon Birdtail, Jr. of Sallisaw, OK
1 son: John Ross Mathis and Dana Deason of Ft. Smith, AR
5 grandchildren: Whitney, Taylor, Jake, Haley and Ashton
Special friend: Andrew Mathis
1 sister: Jan Matthews of Sallisaw, OK
2 brothers: Don Riggs and Bobby Riggs, both of Sallisaw, OK
She was preceded in death by her parents: Harmon and Elizabeth Riggs, 1 sister: Beverly Jones and 3 brothers: Larry, Leon and Randy Riggs
Funeral service is Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 1 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.
Viewing is Tuesday noon - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
