Fred B. Martin was born November 21, 1925 in Paw Paw Bottoms community, Oklahoma, the son of Richard Fred Martin and Minnie Taylor Martin. He married June Russell Martin on December 19, 1947 in Van Buren, Arkansas. Mr. Martin passed this life on July 25, 2009 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 83 years, 8 months and 4 days.
Survivors are:
1 daughter: Paula Blackman of Roland, Ok.
1 son and daughter in law: Alan and Melissa Martin of Roland, Ok.
3 grandsons: Keith Joslin, Cody Fry Sanders and Jay Martin
1 great granddaughter
several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by his wife:
Edna June Russell Martin, parents: Richard and Minnie Martin, 2 sisters: Nadine Riddle in 1942 and Norma Ruth Robinson in 1987, and 2 brothers: Ernest Martin on March 6, 1999 and Charles Dale Martin in Dec. 2008 |
