Barbara Jean Linduff (formerly Reeder), age 75, of Muskogee, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012. She was born to the late Virgil Homer Reeder and Thelma Louise Watson-Reeder on October 31, 1936.
Barbara attended Gore High School in Gore, OK and from there went on to become a Registered Nurse graduating from Sparks Memorial Hospital’s School of Nursing in the 1950s. She loved nursing and continued to care for others working at Med Corp Home Health until she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2009.
Caring for family and the ill was Barbara’s passion and she delighted in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband: Billy Neal Linduff, mother: Thelma Reeder-Thompson and father: Virgil Reeder. Barbara is survived by her half sister: LuAnn Coachman, and her cousin Carla Bortel who she loved dearly. Barbara was a loving mother to James Virgil Linduff, Beverly Jean Hubbard and John Carl Linduff, all of whom will miss her dearly! She was a loving grandmother to Drew Murray, Chad Murray, Samuel Murray, Bailey Hubbard, Morgan Linduff, and James “Tookie” Linduff. She was a great grandmother to Acen Murray and Gage Murray. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends. All who knew her will miss her dearly!
