Obituaries





  Robert (Bob) A. Lauducci, 96, of Vian, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2017 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.  He was born June 30, 1920 in Syracuse, N.Y. to James Vincenzo Lauducci and Josephine (Mucci) Lauducci.

He married Irene Clayton of Vian on January 6, 1943.  He enlisted in the Army Air Corp in 1940.  He became a pilot through the Enlisted Sargent Pilot program. He was a test pilot during WW 2. At the end of the war he flew in the Pacific Theater. He went to Syracuse University on the GI bill and received his degree in engineering. He had a long career as an engineer and continued flying in the Airforce Reserves.  Bob flew small planes for pleasure into his 80's.  Flying was his passion.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister. 

He is survived by his wife,  Irene and four children : Bobbi (Fred) of Anacortis, WA, Mimi of Los Angeles, CA, Gene of Corning, CA, and Richard of Tulsa, OK; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral service is Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 1 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial is at U.S. National Cemetery at 2 pm in Ft. Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.

Viewing is Tuesday from noon - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.  The family will greet from 6 - 7 pm.
