Mr. Caprice Johnson was born September 16, 1931 in Blackgum comm., Ok., the daughter of Gillie Emmitt Risley and Nancy Ann Melvina Talley Risley. She was married to L.D. Johnson on February 3, 1947 in Vian, Ok. He preceded her in death on June 17, 1993 in Vian, Ok. Mrs. Johnson was the former owner and operator of Caprice's Bar-B-Que, a cook and bus driver for Blackgum schools, a former highway construction worker and a member of The Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. She passed this life on August 23, 2008 in Vian, Ok. after having attained the age of 76 years, 10 months and 7 days.
Survivors are: 2 daughters and sons in law: Darlene and Leland Collins of Independence, Mo. and Judy and Gary Carter of Gore, Ok. 2 sons and daughters in law: Rex and Carrie Johnson of Blackgum comm., Ok. and Larry and Brenda Johnson of McAlester, Ok. 10 grandchildren: Eric Collins, Wendy Ussrey, Tonja Gates, Cindi Smith, Chrissy Carter, Sabrina Bloss, Roxanne Johnson, Melissa Adkison, Kimberly Johnson and Melinda Carlin 23 great grandchildren 1 sister and brother in law: Dixie and Jerry Johnson of Vian, Ok. 1 brother and sister in law: Bob and Fay Risley of Blackgum, Ok. several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends
