Juanita Mae James was born April 3, 1951 in Chewey, Oklahoma the daughter of Sunday Byrd and Narcie (Crittenden) Youngpuppy. She was married to Elmer Lee James. Mrs. James passed this life on September 25, 2016 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 65.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sunday "Chooch" Byrd and Narcie (Crittenden) Youngpuppy; 1 brother, Little John Youngpuppy; and sister, Ella Mae Snail
Funeral service is Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 10 am at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial will follow at south Bunch Cemetery in Bunch, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Viewing is Tuesday noon - 8 pm and Wednesday 10 am - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
