Obituary
 

Opal Fern Jackson was born February 10, 1931 in Muldrow, Oklahoma, the daughter of Charlie Coker and Alta (Mitchell) Coker.  She was married to Avis W. Jackson on February 4, 1946 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.  Mrs. Jackson was a homemaker, a substitute teacher at Muldrow Public Schools and of the Holiness Faith.  She passed this life on February 2, 2012 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 80 years, 11 months and 22 days.

Survivors are:

husband: Avis of the home

1 daughter:
Donna Newberry and her husband, Jerry of Prim, Arkansas

4 sons:
Jerry Jackson and his wife, Wanda of Ft. Smith, Arkansas
Jimmy Jackson and his friend, Carolyn of Muldrow, Oklahoma
Larry Jackson and his wife, Tammy of Roland, Oklahoma and
Gary Jackson and his wife, April of Muldrow, Oklahoma

9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren

1 sister: Neva Ford of Moore, Oklahoma

1 brother: Homer Coker of Edmond, Oklahoma

several nieces, nephews, cousins
and other relatives and friends

She was preceded in death by her parents,
2 grandchildren: Coby Watson and Tyrel Jackson,
