Howell was born October 23, 1939 in Uniontown, Arkansas, the son of Harve Howell and Mente Brewer Howell.  He was married to Doris Fleetwood Howell on June 18, 1961 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.  Mr. Howell worked in the Tool Crib Assembly at Baldor Electric, retiring after 33 years and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam war.  He passed this life on May 21, 2009 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 69 years, 6 months and 28 days. Survivors are: wife: Doris of the home 3 daughters and sons in law: Sherry and Jimmy Coughran of Muldrow, Ok., Lottie and Clem Whitmer of Muldrow, Ok., and Patricia "Patty" and Jim Brown of Muldrow, Ok. 1 son: Charles Howell of Muldrow, Ok. 5 grandchildren: Jimmy, Jeannie, Tricia, Wayne and Zachary 1 great grandchild: Aidan 7 sisters: Lera, Kay, Evelyn, Carol, Becky, Gail, and Minerva 3 brothers: Paul, Lee and Ray several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends
