Obituary
Mr. James G. Hope was born July 2, 1932 in Booneville, Ar., the son of James Daniel Hope and Pernie (Jenkins) Hope. He married Peggy Ailene (Bates) Hope on May 2, 1953 in Tulsa, Ok. Jim served in the Army 180th Infantry, 45th Division in Korea. He was a retired industrial aircraft engineer for Boeing and engineer at Holley Carburetor. He helped work on the Apollo Space Project. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a 50+ year member of the Masonic Lodge in Tulsa, a 50+ year member of the VFW, a member of the American Legion Post 27 and a member of First Baptist Church in Sallisaw, Ok. Mr. Hope passed this life on Sept. 7, 2009 in Ft. Smith, Ar. after having attained the age of 77 years, 2 months and 5 days.

1 daughter and son in law: Jami and Greg Callahan of Ft. Smith, Ar.
2 granddaughters: Courtney Hope Callahan of Rogers, Ar. Christa Lea Callahan of Ft. Smith, Ar.
2 great grandchildren: Caden and Camden Callahan
1 sister: Aline Logan of Poteau, Ok.
1 brother: Andrew Hope of Tulsa, Ok.

He was preceded in death by his parents: James and Pernie Hope, 1 sister: Arline Hope Burden and 2 brothers: J.D. and William Hayward Hope
