Obituary

Carl William Hixon was born November 25, 1922 in Okfuskee, Ok., the son of James F. Hixon and Tena Hoover Hixon.  He was married to Maxine Spyres on October 6, 2945 in Selma, Ca.  She preceded him in death on December 2, 2006 in Conway, Ar.  Mr. Hixon was a minister and christian radio broadcaster.  He was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Romance, Ar. and a WWII veteran.  Mr. Hixon passed this life on June 14, 2010 in Conway, Ar. after having attained the age of 87 years, 6 months and 20 days.

Survivors are:

2 daughters: Tena Hixon of Conway, Ar. and
Pamela Hixon Rhea of Conway, Ar.

2 sons: Ronald Hixon of New Braunfels, Tx. and
Rodney Hixon of Kalamazoo, Mi.

4 grandchildren: Mark Rhea, Jacob Hixon,
Seth Hixon and Haley Hixon

4 great grandchildren

other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents,
grandson: Paul Rhea, 2 sisters: Ruth Speckman and Lena Ginn and 3 brothers: Wayne, Olen and Howard Hixon
