Jerry Tom Hetherington, 67 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Jerry was born August 24, 1948 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the son of Thomas Lester and Hazel (Walden) Hetherington.
He was the owner and operator of Sallisaw Lumber for 41 years. He was on the CASC Board of Regents
and played football at University of Oklahoma from 1966 - 1970.
Survivors are:
wife, Georgia (Ollie) Hetherington of the home;
son and daughter in law, Jarret and Teri Hetherington of Sallisaw, OK;
grandchildren, Taren and Alex Madding, Seth Morgan;
two great grandchildren;
brother in law, Dan Ollie;
numerous cousins, other relatives, loved ones and friends
Private services will be held.
Visitation will be 10 am - 8 pm Saturday at
Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma and
9 am - 1 pm at Evans & Miller Funeral Home in Poteau, Oklahoma.
