Mr. Hefton was born June 24, 1912 in Heavener, Oklahoma, the son of William Arthur Hefton and Myrtle Mattie Riddle Hefton. He was married to Niva Iona Vessell on May 20, 1931
in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on October 26, 1990 in Vian, Oklahoma.
Mr. Hefton was a veteran of WWII, serving as Corporal in the Army Air Corp.
He was a cattleman, rancher and farmer and a member of Round Mountain Church.
He passed this life on April 8, 2008 in Muskogee, Oklahoma after having attained
the age of 95 years, 9 months and 15 days.
He leaves to mourn his passing:

Willene and Weslie Lipe of Vian, OK, Wanda and Bill Young of Gentry, OK,
Melba and Donald Baker of Vian, OK, and Niva Nell Hefton of the home.
2 Sons and Daughters in law: Dale and Sharon Hefton of McRae, GA.,
and Wendell and Sharron Hefton of Houston, TX
26 Grandchildren, 76 Great Grandchildren, and 62 Great Great Grandchildren

1 Brother: John Hefton of Stephenville, TX
He was preceded in death by his wife, 1 daughter: Reba Lindsey, 1 son: Billy Hefton,
