Opal B. Heape was born January 15, 1922 in Bly, Oklahoma, the daughter of James Robert Hicks and Lille Mae Adamson Hicks. She married Harry Leon Heape on July 25, 1942 in Nowata, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on January 6, 2008 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mrs. Heape passed this life on August 14, 2012 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 90 years,
6 months and 29 days.

2 daughters: Phyllis Jo Schmidt of Ingalls, KS
and Kathy Jolene Winkler of Cimarron, KS
2 sons: Larry Gene Heape of Tulsa, OK
and Michael Leon Heape of Phoenix, AZ
9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren,
4 great great grandchildren
1 sister: Pauline Wilson of Camden, AR
2 brothers: Max Hicks of Hoisington, KS
and Alva Hicks of Cape Carteret, NC
several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents,
