Alma Sue Haynes was born August 9, 1927 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of John Thomas Lester and Hebe Franklin Lester. She was married to Paul Haynes on March 15, 1951 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on October 31, 2010 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mrs. Haynes was a retired telephone operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone after 22 years and retired from Coltec Automotive in Quality Control after 16 years. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She passed this life on December 31, 2011 in Enid, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 84 years, 4 months and 22 days.

1 son: Joe Haynes of Enid, OK
6 grandchildren: Jacob and Katy Folks,
Elizabeth, Katrina, Amelia and Joey Paul Haynes
