In Loving Memory of
Mr. Ray A. Harper
1948 - 2008
 

 Mr. Harper was born March 11, 1948 in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Wilford Sherman Harper and Anna Marie (Moyer) Harper.  He was married to Peggy Sue Johnson on April 3, 1975 in Topeka, Kansas.  Mr. Harper was a carpenter and a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War.  He passed this life on September 15, 2008 at his home in the Blackgum community, north of Vian, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 60 years, 6 months and 4 days.

Survivors are:

3 daughters and 2 sons in law: Tressia and Kenneth Hayes of Jenks, Ok.
Betty and Tony DeKat of Americas, Ks. and Toni Simpson of Topeka, Ks.
3 sons and daughters in law: Christopher and Keana Harper of Vian, Ok.
Lance and Donna Chisum of Ocean Springs, Ms. and Kelly and Kari Harper of Blackgum, Ok.
14 grandchildren: Kyle, Adam and Mandy Hayes, Tim Davidson, Mario Munoz,
Garrett Chisum, Brandon, Cameron and Karlie Harper, A.J., Destiny and Ivy Simspson,
Erica Cooley and Kate Garcia
4 great grandchildren: Nickolas Garcia, McKenzie Cooley, Mya and Cheyenne Davidson
mother: Anna Harper of Topeka, Ks.
2 sisters: Lovan Langston and Lavern Ard, both of Topeka, Ks.
mother in law: Susie Johnson of Vian, Ok.
sister in law: Mary Moore of Ft. Gibson, Ok.
brother in law: Floyd Johnson of Gum Springs, Ok.

he was preceded in death by father and brother: Ralph Harper
