Mr. Harp was born September 6, 1929 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, the son of Clarence Harp and Mamie (Leigh) Harp. He was married to Mildred Allen on December 10, 1954 in Firebaugh, California. Mr. Harp was a retired pump operator for Firebaugh Canal Company, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of First Assembly of God Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He passed this life on June 16, 2008 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 78 years, 9 months and 10 days.

7 grandchildren: Danny Jr., Melodie, Joshua, Austin, Jared, Stephen, and Brandon
3 great granddaughters: Crystal, Elizabeth, and Emma
2 sisters: Geneva Ross and Lillian New, both of Sallisaw, Ok
1 brother: Ralph Harp of Sallisaw, Ok
He was preceded in death by his parents: Clarence and Mamie Harp
and 3 sisters: Daisy Clark, Gladys Payne, and Dean Harrison |
