Ray "Pete" Hallum, 85, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, passed away, Thursday, November 19, 2015 in Van Buren,Arkansas. He was born September 19, 1930 in Lee's Chapel community, Oklahoma the son of Grundy Orban Hallum and Maud Elizabeth (Lee) Hallum. He married Muriel Dean Vessell on June 1, 1952 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was a 1949 graduate of Muldrow High School, a factory worker, rancher, and of the Assembly of God faith.

2 daughters and sons in law: Joan and John Taylor of Muldrow, OK and Brenda and Jerry Johnson of Muldrow, OK
2 sons and daughters in law: Randall and Deborah Hallum of Muldrow, OK and Mark and Jennifer Hallum of Muldrow, OK
9 grandchildren: Jeremy Hallum, Jordan Taylor, Jennifer Sharp, Jarrod Taylor,
RaAnda Hallum, Gideon Hallum, Rachel Hallum, Delaney Hallum, and Luke Hallum
4 great grandchildren: Jaycee Hallum, Audrey Sharp, Ethan Taylor, and Kallie Sharp
1 sister: Fay Prescott of Muldrow, OK
several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother: Orban Hallum, and 3 sisters: Syble Hallum, Eula Dean Huggins and Joyce Hallum
Funeral service will be Monday, November 23, 2015 at 2 pm at Lee's Chapel Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma.
Burial will be at Lee's Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Muldrow.
Viewing will be Sunday 2 - 8 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church. The family will greet from 4 - 6 pm.
