Turner Grimmett was born January 1, 1929 in Welling, Oklahoma, the son of Deyohli Grimmett and Ollie (Pigeon) Grimmett. He married Laura Jean Wilson on November 2, 1962 in Pecos, Texas. She preceded him in death on August 3, 2005. Mr. Grimmett passed this life on December 9, 2016 in Vian, Oklahoma at the age of 87.
He leaves to mourn his passing:

Donna Tiger of Tulsa, OK and Devona Morris of Vian, OK
15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren
1 sister: Juanita Webb and Harold of Welling, OK
1 brother: Ray Grimmett of Barber, OK

He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Grimmett; 1 daughter, Diane; 2 sons, Darren and Dewayne; his parents, Deyohli and Ollie Grimmett; 2 brothers; 1 sister; and 2 grandsons.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Redbird Smith Ceremonial Grounds with burial at Redbird Smith Cemetery.
A wake will be held Monday at the home.
