Bobby T. Goad was born July 12, 1940 in Hodgen, Oklahoma. The son of Mac Goad and Myrtle Dix Goad. He married Julia Miller Goad on July 6, 1990 in South Lake Tahoe, California. Mr. Goad was a longtime construction worker. He worked in California and helped build and develop Interstate 5 and other roads and exchange loops in California. He was a member of the Laborers Union. Most recently he was owner and operator of Goad Backhoe until retirement and his son still runs the business. Mr. Goad passed this life on July 6, 2007 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 66 years, 11 months and 24 days.
He leaves to mourn his passing: wife: Julia of the home; 2 daughters: Dena Goad of Bixby, Ok., and Christina Rhodes of Tulsa, Ok.; 2 sons: Scott Bettencourt and wife Maryann of Sallisaw, Ok., and Brian Bettencourt of Sallisaw, Ok.; 2 sisters: Clara Perry of Warner, Ok., and Norma Edwards of Coweta, Ok.; 3 brothers: Alfred Goad of Wagoner, Ok., Louie Goad of Ft. Gibson, Ok., and Kenneth Goad of Muskogee, Ok.; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. |
