Obituary
Bill Fullbright was born September 4, 1925 in Akins, Oklahoma, the son of David Andrew Fullbright and Hettie Margaret (Miller) Barnes. He was married to Cleo Wanda Looper on July 24, 1967 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on March 21, 1998. Mr. Fullbright was a 20 year veteran of the U.S. Army. He entered the service in 1944 and served his country through WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He was an active member of the American Legion Carnie Welch Post #27 where he served as a Post Commander. Mr. Fullbright passed this life on December 5, 2009 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 84 years, 3 months and 1 day.
Survivors are:
2 step-daughters: Wanda Brinlee of Sallisaw, Ok. and Linda Hopkins of Sallisaw, Ok.
6 grandchildren: Todd Amos, Mike Amos, Amanda Mitchell, Troy Horn, Kimberly Carter and Jerry Horn
12 great grandchildren
1 brother: Gus Fullbright of Sallisaw, Ok.
