Rev. Johnny D. Floyd, 82, of Roland, Oklahoma, entered into his Heavenly rest Thursday, April 6, 2017. He was born May 21, 1934 in Moffett, Oklahoma. He married Virginia Lee Lowrimore on August 3, 1952 in Van Buren, Arkansas. Rev. Floyd was an ordained Assembly of God minister for 50 years. Most recently, he served as Associate Pastor of Amazing Grace Fellowhsip in Van Buren, Arkansas.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his wife, Virginia of almost 65 years; 3 sons, Rev. Dale Floyd and wife, Virginia of Roland, OK, Art Floyd and wife, Jean of Huntington, AR, and Stan Floyd and wife, Sara of Muldrow, OK; daughter, Sondra Reynolds and husband, Rev. Ray Reynolds of DeQueen, AR.

He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren: Jennifer and Jeff Robinson, Lorena and Alan Goforth, Anthony Floyd and Claudia, Jeremy and Melissa Floyd, Joanna and DJ Paul, Jason Floyd, Chris and Brittany Floyd, Johnathan and Kellie Reynolds, Kayla and Josh Rich, and Mark and Tara Moore; 23 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Floyd; his mother, Florence Stites; 3 brothers and 2 sisters

Bro. Floyd loved God and loved going to church. He cherished his family and was a great example for them in both life and death. He will be greatly missed by many.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 10 am at Amazing Grace Fellowship, 2020 Rena Road, Van Buren, Arkansas. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Muldrow.

Viewing will be Monday from 10 am - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. The family will greet from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
