Sweet Madeleine is now a member of the Lord’s heavenly choir. Madeleine Sophie Kostka Fine was born January 3, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Vernoica Orlowski Kostka and Thomas Kostka. She was married to Harold Dale Fine. Mrs. Fine was a long time member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, a resident of Sallisaw, OK and a graduate of Sallisaw High School. Mother was the epitome of mother earth and lived and breathed in her gardens, a consummate cook, sang soprano in the choir, taught religious classes, worked as a caregiver and later volunteered with Catholic Charities. Her proudest accomplishment was her children, whom all made her proud of their educational pursuits, families and career successes which have been passed on to her grandchildren. We grieve upon her passing but embrace all of our fond memories of her beautiful smile, sense of humor, love of music and belief in God. Mrs. Fine passed this life on September 25, 2012 in Muskogee, Oklahoma at the age of 82.

Charles and Barbara Kostka of Sallisaw, OK

She was preceded in death by her husband: Harold Dale Fine
and her parents: Thomas and Veronica Kostka.
