James "Fred" Farmer was born August 31, 1939 in Muldrow, Oklahoma the son of Jess Robert Farmer and Thelma Sue (Boyette) Farmer. He was married to Sandra Carol Coates on February 14, 1964 in Tacoma, Washington. He was retired from Gerber Products in Ft. Smith, AR, a U.S. Army Veteran and a Nazarene. Mr. Farmer passed this life on May 21, 2016 in Muldrow, Oklahoma at the age of 76.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters: Lessie Hartsfield, Jessie Waddy and Mary Kemper and 2 brothers: John and Billy Farmer
Funeral service will be Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 10 am at First Church of the Nazarene in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will be at Blackjack Cemetery.
Viewing will be Wednesday 2 - 8 pm at First Church of the Nazarene in Muldrow. The family will greet from 6 - 8 pm.
