Mr. Edgar J. Fargo |
Mr. Fargo was born June 13, 1925 in Muldrow, Oklahoma, the son of Hugh Edward Fargo and Claudia Pearl (Ramey) Fargo. He was married to Myrl Lou Hixson on June 29, 1946 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mr. Fargo was retired after 32 years at Ward and Desoto Furniture and 12 years at Riverside Furniture. He was a charter member of the Church of the Nazarene in Muldrow, Oklahoma, a longtime member of the V.F.W. Post# 8384 in Muldrow, Ok. and a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Mr. Fargo passed this life on September 3, 2008 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 83years, 2 months and 20 days.
Survivors are: wife of 63 years: Myrl of the home 1 daughter and son in law: Nyla and Mike Dye of Ft. Smith, Ar. 1 son and daughter in law: Terry and Ruth Ann Fargo of Redland, Ok. 4 grandsons: Steve Colley, Luke and Jacob Fargo and Bannon Dye other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by his parents: Ed and Claudia Fargo, a son: Marcus who passed away at the age of 3 days, a son: Edgar Dwain whom he loved and was devoted to during his 45 years of life and a brother: Charles Franklin Fargo | |
