Buster Fargo, 88, of Brent, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was born August 16, 1928 in Gans, Oklahoma the son of Joe Welcome Fargo and Gertrude Humble Fargo. He was the owner and operator of Fargo's Grocery Store, a farmer, rancher and a Protestant. He graduated from Gans High school and then attended Poteau College. He then was a Merchant Marine and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

2 daughters: Valerie Fargo-Rhoades of Ft. Smith, AR
and Carla Fargo of Ft. Davis, TX
1 son: Bryan and wife, Michelle Fargo of Muldrow, OK
5 grandchildren: Matthew and wife, JA'Mae Rhoades, Eli Rhoades, Lucus Fargo, Kayla Fargo and Candice Fargo
2 great grandsons: Rhys Rhoades and Logan Fargo
1 sister: Ruby and husband, Norman Etchison of Bakersfield, CA
3 brothers: Bill and wife, Maxine Fargo of Bakersfield, CA,
Charles and wife, Martha Fargo of Eureka Springs, AR,
and R.G. and wife, Tina Fargo of Brent, OK
several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joe Allen Fargo
Graveside service is Friday, October 14, 2016 at 2 pm at Brent Cemetery in Gans, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Visitation is Thursday from 2 - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
